In July 2008, we moved up
to bigger and better premises. Still at
West Ferry Printers, the
space is double the size and this means you'll
be able to bring bigger
class sizes from January 2009.
We're also opening a brand new Media Studio which will enable young people
to be able to generate their own TV broadcasts - come back soon to find
out more!
We have been talking to you to find out what you want, to help us deliver our new programme, which will compliment the changing face of national news media : representing the dynamic, fast paced, visual elements of news broadcasting. We want to create a programme which reflects the variety of ways people stay informed with the latest news, each day.
In June, we
hosted the Primary Media Forum and in September, the Secondary Media Forum took place. A BIG thank you to all teachers and other consultants who took part in both forums!

NET is a registered charity based at a national newspaper printworks
in the heart of London Docklands. In 2005, we celebrated our tenth anniversary!

Work Related Learning: We believe it is unique with nearly 2,000 Primary and Secondary pupils using our newsroom facility each year. Not only in numbers, but also in the way in which pupils are covering live news stories as they break, (often beating the nationals with their own stories), the specific curriculum preparation that has been written for teachers before returning with their pupils, and the vast amount of ICT, Literacy and office skills that pupils learn during their day's visit.

2008: We're getting bigger!
With ever increasing programmes
on offer to schools and more team members
joining us this summer, we've run out of leg room. We're planning to move
to a
bigger and better space, to bring teachers and students even more
brilliant programmes and a new media studio for pod casting!
